Matching Ads to Your Blog

I recently signed up with a service that matches advertisers to your blog. I signed up about three weeks ago and today got my first order and place the banner ad on one of my websites. That service is Matched.co.uk.

When you sign up you get the opportunity to provide details on your blog and then set up advertising formats that you'd like to place. They then match an advertiser(s) with your blog, email you a notification when they have an advertiser and create your ads for ou. all you have to do is cut and paste the html they create and drop it in your web page. Done.

They pay as follows - "Once the ads have been live on your site for a month, you will be paid on the 15th of the month by bank transfer or by PayPal." The advertiser actually pays a monthly fee to appear on your website. You can only run 1 ad per month on a page and upto 5 ads in total. However, you can also set up 5 blogs in total. The payment is 3 UK Pounds per month per ad. Whats nice about that is right now it affords some insulation against the falling US Dollar.

I'll report back in 6-weeks or so on my progress with this service.

Meanwhile, What I like about this service is that it is like selling custom advertising on your blog but all of the hard work is done for you.

And hurry because right now they are offering a five pound bonus just for signing up!
